Gordon was my first point of contact with Somerset when I lodged with Carole and Gordon, he welcomed me to his home and introduced me to their 5 dogs, apparently I was only allowed to stay if the dogs liked me, thankfully they did, fast forward 8 years or so, and I realise how that encounter changed my life path, I stayed with Carole and Gordon for a bit, they made me feel like family and they felt like family to me, still do, he told me stories of his past, with details so exacting you would have believed it just happened, I can struggle to remember what happened last week but he seemingly could remember what colour underwear he wore 20 years ago.
I moved down to Somerset permanently, changed my job and made new relationships. I now have Catherine by my side, a woman I would not have met if it wasn’t for Gordon, I’m sure this will never be the case but if there is ever reason for her to regret my existence in this part of the country, it was all Gordons fault.
Missed , not forgotten

I gave Gordon a hard time when I first met him. When I got to know him his love of life and Carole shone through.
Going to the woods with the dogs at the weekend and after to the pub,fun and laughs at the shoot ball and a big breakfast in the morning.
Meeting him on his birthday with a bottle of bubbles and telling rude jokes.
A lovely man and friend RIP Gordon with your family and friends.
We will miss you but never forgotten.
