In loving memory of Michelle Bemrose who sadly passed away on 4th December 2023
Our Shell, a larger than life character, mad as a box of frogs but always with a beaming smile. Remembered for being everybody's biggest cheerleader! Played football from a young age and went on to play for Notts County Ladies. A complete tomboy, Shell was a massive darts fan playing in multiple teams, a black belt in karate where she ran a club in Bulwell for a number of years. Shell adored her family and could tell a funny tale and heart-warming compliment about every single member.
Remembered for her great love of cats. Her babies as Shel called them watching her converse back n forth was amazing.
Her smile and loud beautiful personality lit up every room.
We will miss you forever. Nanight Shell xxxxxxx

I still cannot believe you have gone. Although we rarely saw each other; later in life; we'd bump into each other in passing, through Bulwell. Thank goodness for social media, to bring us back together. You were a wonderful person, with a shared love of animals; particularly cats. You will be sorely missed.

I had the honour of being a best friend of yours for many years. We owned the dance floor and drank untill our heads span.We cooked meals for each other and shared long chats. Our families embraced each other. My mum and kids were so fond of you. I spent time with your family and we shared some pretty awesome times together. We practiced our Kata's on mountains together and ran down the other side laughing our heads off and dodging sheep poo. We shared so many laughs and also many tears mate.l will miss your huge smile my bat shit crazy friend x Hug your mam for me x Till we dance again Shell x Wend and family xxx

I remember Michelle from the early days of the "Foresters" I'm sure she won't remember me but, boy did we laugh when we say each other. I am gutted that another good one has been taken from the community. Your smile will stay forever in the hearts of the LGBTQI+ family. Keep smiling love always..... MICK X X X
