In loving memory of Marion Dunlop O'Brien who sadly passed away unexpectedly on 16th November 2023. Marion was the much loved wife of Edward and a loving mum to Emma-Jane, Ross, Craig, Charlotte & Marion and grandmother to the apple of her eye Mila. She was the daughter of Josephine & Jim and sister of Jimmie, Iain & Wendy.

Family was everything to Marion who lived her life to the fullest - collecting lots of friends along the way! She had an infectious smile which lit up the room and a love for karaoke. She was truly an amazing strong & inspirational woman who will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Marion was my best friend...I always called her

Marion was my best friend...I always called her "Mother Earth" reason being she was a strong, loving mother. I miss her. My love and deepest respect go to Eddie and her family at this sad time. πŸ˜”

Met Marion in '96 and we were youth workers together at St. Rochs and Molindinar. We became good friends, enjoying each others company for a wee half at Granny Blacks afterwards. A fellow member of Les Girls quiz team, we would have a grand laugh over our lack of general knowledge and my nonsensical answers. Marion enjoyed, along with others of our group, karaoke, and never failed to take her turn at the Mike. Marion was abrave soul, stoic in the face of adversity, and firmly fierce in supporting her family. She was forgiving, loving, great fun and a lifelong friend. I will miss her greatly.
