It is with immense sadness that the family of Susan Carolyn Marney announce her passing on Monday 4th December 2023, after her fight with cancer at the age of 59.
Sue passed away at Southend University Hospital and will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Ron, her 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
Sue dedicated her life to caring for others and spent over 30 years in the caring profession. Her personality will be remembered by all she met, and her humour was enjoyed by everyone.
A truly loving person, she always put others before herself and her determination to live life to the full will be remembered forever. Sue loved gardening and created a wonderful garden at her home full of colour and tranquility.
We will be raising donations in Sue's memory for the Elizabeth Loury ward at Southend University Hospital. As a family, we are forever grateful to the ward for the care and support they provided, and we hope that by raising funds in Sue's name we can help bring some level of comfort for future patients.
The funeral will be held on:
Tuesday 16th January 2024 at 2pm

This day will be a celebration of Sue and we kindly ask that if you wish to attend, you wear colours as opposed to formal black dress. Thank you.
