I would like to say how blessed I was to have known my dear brother in Christ Derrick and sister Janice true friends who showed me so much love and kindness, always there when I was going through difficulties. Kind funny and a true gentleman. You are now at home with our wonderful Saviour, it was a privilege to have known my dear friend and brother. Sending Janice my all my love and praying for you and your lovely family. God bless my darling. From your sister in Christ Linda xxx

Going to miss my old chum and his famously corny jokes that always were a laugh, he served faithfully at our fellowship for close to 20 years in the role of preacher, deacon, bookkeeper, sound recorder, etc, etc, he was a man of many traits, but above all he was my Christian brother and personal friend. Godspeed Derrick, you get to see Jesus before me.

Derrick will be sorely missed by so many, especially by me who gained so much by having the honour of knowing him as a dear friend and brother in Christ.
