In loving memory of Ant Shaw who sadly passed away on 24th October 2015 aged 49 years. Ant will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Born in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Raised in Kirk Hallam. Causing mischief in Ilkeston School while simultaneously gaining high grades. He became the friendly face of the local milkman, even on occasion driving his eldest children to school on the milk float. From goth to biker and beyond, he adored subcultures and choosing his own path in life. Always involved in one good cause or another, making friends for life as easily as smiling. He picked up the guitar and bass, playing regularly whenever the mood took him. Music was his passion. He was one of the best DJs for biker events, often exhausting his audience with his extensive vinyl collection. He was a great supporter of live alternative music.

He loved literature, lyrics, poetry, and prose, and would often fill notebooks with his own words. Ant could build or repair any vehicle and was always willing to help anyone who asked. Despite having disabilities he continued to push himself to his limit, always striving for a full, optimistic life. Artist, mechanic, musician, writer, philanthropist, and a true Renaissance Man. He loved as much as he was loved.

His loss is truly felt by many.
