In loving memory of Ann Doreen Finnis who sadly passed away on 2nd November 2023

Sadly, my mother Ann was diagnosed with brain cysts in May 2023. She previously had them and had surgery to remove them back in 2000 These cysts cause pressure on the brain and can effect balance, coordination, hearing, vision, memory loss and can cause fits.
Due to her age and other health conditions Ann could not have surgery this time. She suffered all of the symptom's this time and sadly passed away on 2nd November 2023.

We were provided with absolutely no information from the hospital about this condition or what to expect to happen along the way. I came across this charity after mum died, whilst doing some research on line. It provides so much help and information. My only regret is that I did not find it sooner.

Please consider donating to the Brain Tumour Charity. Thank you. Sheila

Sadly you couldn't come to our wedding. So we came to visit you instead. Such a special moment for us all.

Thanks for being the most wonderful Mum ever. Always there for me through the good and bad times. You were my best friend. I know your heart has been torn to pieces twice during the last 2 years with loosing Angela and Dad how lonely life had come for you . I hope you are all reunited now. Then this awful illness. We battled every day at the hospital for you , but they would not listen. I will be taking up the fight with them again once I have regained some strength. I hate the fact that we never really got to say good bye to you that night. That is so tough to deal with right now. I will miss you for ever and never stop loving you. The dogs are missing you as well. Until we meet again. Your loving daughter Sheila xxx
