Cathryn and I are both saddened by the loss of our Uncle.
Our earliest memories are of him visiting us with a 70’s moustache, on a huge bike that made the house shake. Always with a fag in his hand.
Rest in peace Uncs 😘😘

We were both very sad to hear about Steve’s passing, after knowing him for many years, sharing lots of laughs and stories, he helped us out immensely with the clever stuff when Stu was self employed this was very much appreciated. Heartfelt condolences go out to Meryl and all the family.
Will miss you ‘B’ 💕

I was very sorry to hear the sad news of Steve’s passing.

Steve was the very first person I met in the Queens Head over 20 years ago. At that time Julian & I lived In Wollaton & used to take a trip there especially to see him. Then, after moving to Watnall the Queens became our local, & we had so many great laughs with him. His nickname for me was ‘Blackie’ I can still hear him saying it. When I think of Steve it brings a warm glow & a big smile to my face.

RIP Steve , good night & godbless ❤️ you will be missed x

I was gutted to hear the news of Steve’s recent passing.

I’d known Steve for 25+ years & classed him as a dear friend. We shared countless laughs (& beers!) over the years; firstly in the Horse & Groom & then for what became our HQ for the next 20 years, the Queens Head.
I have very fond memories of the time we shared, putting the world to rights on all manner of topics, but overall, just having a laugh with my pal…

My sincerest condolences also go to Meryl & the rest of the family 💐🙏🏼

RIP Steve, I’ll miss you mate x
