Jeremy Plummer (Passed away 27 Oct 2023)

I remember Jeremy from my time at Eccles Sixth Form College and later as he hosted our Community Choir in Prestwich. May you rest in peace & make merrie music in the heavens.

I first met Jeremy over 25 years ago in Bolton when he approached me about accompanying my singing. He was one of the most supportive, sympathetic and encouraging accompanists I have known. I worked with him at Eccles 6th Form College where he was respected and loved by all his students for his gentle authority and generosity of spirit. Jeremy was a generous supporter of Rowley Projects and through him so many lives in a small rural community in Kenya have been enhanced and students have been afforded life-changing opportunities. Most of all Jeremy was a man of God who exemplified a life lived with Christ at the centre. Jeremy, the world was a better place for having you in it and I thank God for all you have meant to me. My love to Debby and Paul - may you know God's comfort and presence as you navigate the coming weeks and months of life without such a special presence. Love from us both, Angela & Steve.
