So shocked and saddened to hear of Robs passing.
Me and Nick worked with Rob at Ductile. He was always kind and helpful to me, even giving up his Sunday to fit a car stereo one week. We enjoyed many nights out together, not forgetting the competitive go carting afternoons.
I loved his Facebook adventures and how proud he was of his family.
Rest in Peace Rob love Sarah and Nick Kitchen

I can't believe this has happened we are all so shocked
I keep thinking back to the times when we were younger and the good times we had clubbing and christmas get togethers at each others houses with all the family
Even though we have not seen each other for a while it's hard to believe I won't see you anymore cous
Thoughts and hugs go out to Gill, Emma, Ben, Aunty Meg and Stuart and Bronwyn
Lots of love Julie ❤️ xxx

Hello
I heard the very sad news today about Rob. I was an apprentice with Rob at Firth Brown when we were 16 years old. Worked with him for many including Ductile Casting. I was thinking today about Rob when we had digs in Rotherham and thankfully the coarse was cancelled and we were sent to Derby Collage.
Where we stayed in of all things a YMCA. Great memories and I wish all his family my heart felt condolences.
