In loving memory of Matthew Worthy who sadly passed away on 6th September 2023
In Matt’s younger years he enjoyed spending summers with the family, water skiing and swimming.
He enjoyed most sports and was very good at whatever he did.
He picked up fishing very well, in which he learnt from his father and soon he was catching some monster carp. In his early twenties, with his friends he made regular fishing trips to France.
Matt had lots of friends with whom he regular socialised with.
Matt was very clever at school obtaining very good grades, when he left school he had various jobs including working with his father, in the cabinet making industry.
Unfortunately in Matt’s mid twenties he developed mental illness and his life took a turn for the worse which was very sad for him and the family.
For 30 years Matt struggled with he’s mental health, he would still fish but on his own , which was very lonely for him, he couldn’t work throughout all those years and he struggled with home life but had the greatest love and support from his mother.
