Martin was my mentor in IBM. He guided me as a new comer and helped me to develop my skills in the new workplace. I learnt so much from him and his good humour. I was very lucky to have him as my mentor.

Very sorry to hear about Martin's passing and condolences to all of Martin's family and friends. Martin was a great friend going back to his days in Renfrew, he was a great footballer (and as he told me a fine cricketer also), he had a fantastic sense of humour and a very smart guy. I am now very glad I bumped into him a couple of times last year when he was back up in Scotland, it was great to see him and he had not changed - a very funny nice guy and I will miss him! So sad to hear the sad news of Martin’s passing he was such a great friend to my late partner Craig McConnachie I will never forget the dedication & kindness he showed to Craig. It makes me smile remembering their debating /arguing who was the greatest Celtic or Rangers. Craig actively avoiding Martin had Rangers lost an old firm or seeking him out had they won. They had a long & special friendship. Love to all the family Annette Clare & Stuart xx
