Well Eddie what can I say, you were the life & soul of every party dancing & drinking generally to excess, so what, you always enjoyed yourself & made many happy memories for everyone. Was honoured to have met you, had cycling holidays in France & Holland & on my boat which I will always hold dear memories in my heart. You always had a smile on your face & a cheeky quip, you were generous, kind & loving person, I'm so happy to have known you. Keep on partying in your next adventure wherever it is. Alan & Dee xx

Uncle Eddie. It’s been years since I last saw you and having moved away a long time ago I always knew that if I were to pop into the Smallholders Club at any point during a visit, yours would be one of the faces I would see. You had a contagious laugh and friendly demeanor. Rest easy Sir

I have so many memories of Eddie. I loved his sense of fun and mischief and it was never a dull moment when he was around. I always felt like he genuinely was interested in how I was doing. In later years when I returned home to visit my parents, it was always lovely to see Eddie and he felt like a member of my extended family. Safe onward journey Eddie. Thanks for your presence here xxxxx
