It was a privilege to know Lalage, she was kind, clever, excellent company and a very good bridge player.

How blessed we were to have Lalage Gough and family as neighbours in that very special community on Soden Avenue, Harare. I remember Lalage driving the VW Combi, doing some school runs. I remember popping in to visit and seeing Lalage doing reading with Malcolm. Then there was that awful day when news arrived that Ray had been killed. The incredible strength and resilience of Lalage as she gathered her 3 children and together started a new life in SA.
I am honoured to have known you Lalage (or as I called you "Mrs Gough").
Strength and comfort to Susan, Andrew and Malcolm.
