I only had the privilege of knowing Val for a few years meeting when her son and my daughter got engaged. We shared a mutual love of knitting and our granddaughter, Val has knitted for charities as long as I have known her. She will be sorely missed by her sons, their wives and grandchildren, missed but always in their hearts and never forgotten.
