They ask me am I okay, they ask me if Im happy.
Are they asking me this because of the bad news thats been thrown at me.
Is it because they genuinly care and Im just too blind to see.
Blurred vision because this is not how its meant to be.
The day of your funeral I put on a brave face until your coffin came in.
Tears running down my cheek whilst hoping it was a figment of my imagination.
But when the service began I knew it was true.
Couldnt believe this was the last time I would say goodbye to you.
The priest said you were our backbone and you made your feelings known.
I know you never followed in peoples footsteps, you always made your own.
I loved that about you, your outlook on life.
The bullies became the butter whilst you became the knife.
I take reassurance knowing youre back with Sammy, when I look up to the sky, concentrate and stare.
Its nice to know that its you two I see there.
I speak to people about you both and theyre still trying to pick up the pieces.
How could you touch so many lives and just leave us.
This world is cruel and can look very dull.
Did you know for both of your funerals both  chapels were full.
That speaks volumes and no more needs to be said.
All those people came to see you rest your head.
They say grievance affects everyone different, even if thats true.
I know none of us will ever get over you.
