Suddenly, after a brief illness on August 16th aged 83 years, Billy. The loving husband of Jean, much-loved dad of Sandra and dear father-in-law of Colin, treasured grandad of Steven. The dearly loved brother of Winnie, beloved brother-in-law of Sylvia, a dear uncle and friend of many. Forever in our hearts.

Family and friends please meet on Wednesday August 30th service in Sunderland Crematorium at 2:30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for Cancer Research. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.

So sorry to hear the very sad news, we have lived beside Billy and family for over 60 years, happy times. Hope Jean, Sandra and family find comfort in knowing they are in everyone's thoughts and pride in the fact that Billy was a lovely husband, dad and granda. Such sad news - Billy was such a lovely kind hearted man and it’s was so nice growing up next door to both Billy and Jean - he’s been a good friend to us all and even more in recent years to my parents - Billy you will be missed but never forgotten ❤️
