In loving memory of our Mum and Nanna, Ann Sheila Leveridge who sadly passed away on 4th August 2023

Ann spent nearly all her life in Shoeburyness, with a short interlude in the east end of London where her, and her late husband Jimmy embarked on their life together. Ann leaves behind her two children, Jason and Garry, and four Grandchildren, Sam, Morgan (Oliver), Max and Kip.

The funeral will take place on 14th September, 2:40pm at Southend Crematorium and then afterwards at The Shoeburyness Hotel, High Street, Shoeburyness, where she spent time as a child whilst her grandfather was the publican of the day, a fitting venue as these historic links are diminishing, a time to share stories and reminisce - anyone who knew Ann is welcome.

There will be a live link for those who cannot attend, please contact us for the details.

Flowers are welcome but donations to Alzheimer's Research UK are preferred ♥️

Nanna never did anything by halves and there was no better example than coming to football with us every week (often cheering on the wrong team without realising) or filling a trifle for a young me and Oz with sherry. We’ll miss her.

From the moment I met Ann, ten years ago she treated me as if I was one of her own grandchildren. Sometimes I even got more spoiled than Sam; when I passed my A-levels she bought me flowers and a personalised balloon and, much to Sam’s annoyance, he didn’t! I’ll miss the warm welcome of Ann and Jimmy’s home and feel grateful for them making me a part of their family
