I’ll always cherish our weekend chats in Booker’s canteen as we put the world to rights with our unique sense of humour.
I can vividly remember you now sat at the end table with your cup of coffee and kindle in hand. Disturbed only by staff coming in telling you a customer was waiting to be served and you rolling your eyes and cursing as you went out to serve them in your customary old fashioned way.
A true legend of a man who I will always remember with the utmost fondness, as will my wife who adored you as well.
