John Williamson (25 Jan 1944 - 2 Aug 2023)

John Williamson, passed away peacefully on the 2nd August aged 79 years. He leaves wife Judith, daughters Hannah and Sarah and grandson David.
A lifelong musician, his funeral service will include live music from Stonecracker John, a Folk and Caleigh band John was previously a member of.
John's wish was for his funeral not to be a sombre affair, and so will be a celebration of his life. John also requested no black clothing to be worn, with bright colours being the order of the day.
His funeral service is to be held at the East Riding crematorium, Octon, on Thursday the 24th August at 1.30pm, and afterwards at The Station Hotel, Pocklington, where we shall be treated to more live music from a collection of musicians wishing to pay their respects to John.
The family requests no flowers or cards, but any donations to Marie Curie, made on the day or via their website.
