After a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease, Michael Budd of Pondtail Farm, passed away peacefully 1st August, 2023.

Michael's funeral service will take place at Christ Church, Brockham, Wednesday 23rd August at 2pm. Following the church service, the family would like to invite friends back to Pondtail Farm for light refreshments.

Ian Mansey donated £20 in memory of Michael

This is very belated. I am so very sad to learn of Mike's passing. He took me on as a spud picker at the tender age of 12 and I was honoured and happy to spend another 10 years in regular weekend work plus many subsequent visits to help with various jos on his fantastic farm.
My love and best wishes to Janet and family. Having moved away from the area some time ago, I lost contact and genuinely hope to reconnect with his family if possible.

Dearest Michael so very sad to hear of your passing. You coped so well with Parkinson's and I am just so sorry for all your suffering. Janet was amazing caring for you. Always has fun when visiting the farm either feeding the calfs,potato picking or just getting chased by the geese!!! My dad used to love helping out as Mike was such a lovely man x
