Aunt Elsie a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed. When I was little, we went to stay with Gran each year; while there we always visited Aunt Elsie, who made us feel very welcome; one year she invited us to Cousin Denise's Birthday Party; we had a wonderful time. Each year we visited, Aunt Elsie would chat away to Dad and Mum, saying...."Our Denise, ............ Our Susan, ............... and Our John, ............. " after a really long paragraph with no pauses, she would turn to us children and say "you don't understand a word I say?" Coming from Wiltshire our dialect was very different... our reply would be "No Aunt Elsie, but, it was fun listening to you." It was always clear by the sound of her voice that she was very proud of her children and loved them very much.
