Richard Binding (Dickie Dido) (20 Jan 1943 - 29 Jun 2023)

Richard Binding (Known to many as Dickie Dido) peacefully passed away on 29th June 2023 at the grand age of 80. He was known as a LEGEND in Watchet, for his humour, character and his seven decades of services with the band. He was a truly incredible musician. He will be sadly and greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at St Decuman’s Church, Watchet followed by burial in Watchet Cemetery on Friday 28th July 2023 at 12, Noon. Donations in memory of Richard are being gratefully received by Watchet Town Band & West Somerset Brass.
