In loving memory of June Grace Hampshire who sadly passed away on 20th June 2023, aged 85 years.

The funeral was a quiet, family only affair.

The weather was wonderful, & the ceremony was conducted by her great friend & celebrant Yvonne Roberts who gave a beautiful, touching address.

Thanks Yvonne for recounting those wonderful stories, happy memories & why June was so much liked & loved by all those who knew her.

If you knew June, please add a message, or a candle, or make a kind donation to Battersea Cats & Dogs home using the options at top right of screen.

A big thank you to all those that have already posted here, your thoughts & actions are very warmly received.

June left a lasting impression on us all, & now she we be looking down from high on above, with her guiding spirit. 💜

The family would also like to thank John Weir for their friendly & sympathetic support received, allowing things to run as smoothly as possible.

Thank You

Gary & Jane

The lovely waning half-Moon amongst light wispy clouds from Monday 10th July around 9:20am, less than 1 hour before the funeral. The clouds are so ethereal, & it is as though June's spirit is floating by on high.

  • please note, the candle characters above were making a nice heart shape using blank spaces to pad the candles to the correct shape, but after hitting return, the system has stripped out all leading spaces, oh well, you get the idea :-)

The first time I met June was at the entrance to Bredhurst village hall. My friend Elaine and I had gone there ,to The Sanctuary Of Love and Healing , to have healing for Elaine who had cancer.
We had no knowledge of spiritual healing so we both arrived in some trepidation, but as soon as we were welcomed by Junes beautiful smiling face we felt “at home”. She chaired every Sunday service without fail , so loyal and true, her unswerving faith and trust was such a shining example to us all.
June, it was a joy to have known you. Until we meet again, God bless you. Xx

My dear mum-in-law June passed away peacefully at home, in her sleep, early on morning of Tues 20th June.

Although suffering from Alzheimer's for last few years, she enjoyed a good family life & had many friends. She was a true second mum to me & she always said I was the best son-in-law she ever had (I was the only one 🙂).

She was a very spiritual person & gave much of her life to the love & belief of spirit. She used to host the Sanctuary of Love & Healing including medium services at Bredhurst Village Hall over 20 years ago & then supported health & well being events at Centre of Mind, Body & Spirit near Moto M2 motorway services up to about 6 years ago.

I know she has been warmly welcomed into the world of spirit, a place of immense peace & eternal light.

Dearest June, you will be deeply missed & a candle is burning bright for you 🕯️.

Hope you are high up where the angels fly. RIP
