In loving memory of Samuel 'Sam' Edward John Banks who sadly passed away on 31st May 2023.
We regretfully announce the unexpected death of Sam Banks, at his home in the USA.

This has come as a terrible shock to Sam’s family and friends. Among many family members, here in the UK Sam leaves behind a loving mother, grandmother and his younger brother Luke, an amazing young man. Together we are supporting one another.

Sam had so much to offer the world, and in his brief life he gave us so much. To lose him now is heartbreaking - to know how much he had already achieved, but also aimed to achieve in the future, to be a good father to his son, who has lost a father at just 5 months old. Among so many attributes, we will particularly remember his charm, his humour and his limitless kindness.

My family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who have given their support,
compassion, empathy and love throughout this enormous tragedy.

Sam has now been repatriated and is back in the UK. If you would like to pay your respects prior to the funeral, all are welcome.
