In loving memory of David Lewis
David John Lewis passed away suddenly and tragically on Wednesday 14th October 2015 aged 67.
Treasured husband of Shirley and dearest Dad to Neil and daughter-in-law Kelly. A much loved and respected friend and colleague to so many people - he will be sadly missed.
We hope to see many of you at the funeral, and afterwards at The Kingsdown Pub, Upper Stratton, Swindon, Wiltshire SN2 7PE

In the press many years ago:
David Lewis, a young player who was first brought to Trowbridge football club by Manager Roy Onslow for the Sunday morning training sessions, joined us early in December and made his debut for the club against Sittingbourne on 4th December.
Introduced to the skills of football at School where he played Inside Left, he was selected to play for the Swindon Boys in the All England Schools' Championship. On leaving School David joined Swindon Town as an Apprentice Professional, he soon gained a place in the Combination League team and also played for the Youth team in the F.A Youth Cup. Naturally right footed, his main position at Swindon was however at Outside Left.
Although a current member of the Wiltshire Youth team David prefers to turn out for us in the Southern League match and turned down the chance to play against Devon in a Youth game recently
David who is 18, lives in Swindon, where he works as a Carpenter.
