  • Karen so many years have passed, when I came across this page I recognised your father instantly although our last meeting was the early 80’s! For many years we would share a smile in Sainsbury’s, I hope you and your family are well, Tony

Doug, I can't remember a time that you weren't standing next to the pitch. From colts to the 1st team, always supporting and encouraging.

Doug, I only knew you for a relatively short while but you welcomed me into your home along with Doreen with open arms straight away. Our chats about football and the garden and your genuine interest in my second career which started just after I first met you will always be with me. It was a privilege and honour to have met you, sleep well and rest in peace.
Reg xx

Uncle Douglas, for a short time you were in my life. Seeing you only a few times made a big impression on me. Especially the visit when Grandma was still with us and my port visit when I was in the navy. You took me around town and we had a few pints, played a round of golf and I still have the score card you signed. A very kind and generous man you were and I’ll never forget you. My love and condolences go out to the Loyal family and especially Aunt Doreen who will always be in my heart. Rest in peace Uncle Douglas and may God’s perpetual light shine upon you. ❤️
