In memory of Anita Pauline John.

Loving wife to Howard, mother to Gareth and Nikki and devoted Nan to Sam and Theo

Sister of Paul, Lee and Tracey and sisters in law Sharon and Ruth

Anita loved clothes and fashion and colour - if you are attending the funeral then minimal black - unless obviously it is your colour - you do you - she always did

She is now with her partner in crime and best friend of many years George Giles and they'll be raising hell together - there will definitely be no resting in peace with that pair around.

Anita was a friend to everyone, an adopter of waifs and strays, a lover of dogs, shoes, and driving very fast, a maker of mischief, and will be forever missed and in our thoughts

Please add your photos, memories, thoughts. anything you want - This is for Howard to see how much she was loved by so many

If Anita, my lovely sister in law, had a family Coat of Arms the Latin motto would be "familia prima, semper" - family first, always. Will miss you, our chats and your support. Fond regards Ray

Partners in crime. She was the best friend anyone could have to my dad. She was so kind when dad died. Every morning for weeks she would message me. That meant the world to me. Just a beautiful person 😢😢❤️

I became friends with Anita when I worked in the signal box next to Howard on the West Coast mainline. It was lovely to keep up with their achievements in the world of dogs and Crufts and all the friends they made. She will be sadly missed but leaves a great legacy. Luv to all the family.

I first met Anita and Howard in Sweden at a dog show and we immediately warmed to each other. So much laughter and fun fuelled by a few glasses of wine and a mutual love of dogs made for a beautiful friendship across the miles. I travelled to Crufts a few times (from Australia) and Anita and Howard would always come to see me. Sadly when I visited the UK last year at this time it was Howard that was unwell and they were not able to come and see me at 3 Counties. Anita will always have a warm place in my heart and memories, I am so sad that she is no longer with us, but I am sure we will meet again on the other side. Rest well my beautiful friend. Much love to Howard and their family.
