In loving memory of Peter William "Pete" Flude who sadly passed away on 11th May 2023.

Born to Joy and Arthur Flude, Peter leaves behind his two sisters Heather and Nicky.

Married to Debbie in 1982 (who sadly passed in 2005) he leaves a daughter and son Anna and Paul and their spouses Rob and Amy. He is Grandpa of granddaughters,Isabel, Phoebe, Bridget and Olivia and Grandsons Harry and Archie

Pete was known as a gentleman, a gentle giant and a good man to his many many friends from childhood, his marriage, the local pub and the golf course.

A special mention to his Talbot family and the love, friendship camaraderie and good old fashioned banter that he enjoyed over the years.

He was loved and will be missed by all, and we hope that he is now at peace with our mum Deb.

Rest in peace our amazing dad …. Big Pete

Dear Pete,

We have came a long way together. From first becoming friends with you and Derek at Christchurch Infants, through 3rd Barnet Cubs and Scouts. Enjoying the hospitality of the Flude household during the long school holidays, how did your parents put up with us ? In our teenage years following Barnet Football Club seeing them playing at Wembley in 1972 , our nights out at The Fishmongers Arms and Fagans night club. Working together at Victoria Motors. Later you introducing me and Derek to the Mansfield night spots of course the Talbot but also the unforgettable Chelsea night club which appeared to be 2 terrace houses knocked together. More recently our weekends away with the Barnet boys.

It has been fun , we had our ups and downs but we always stuck together.

In the words of Vinny Jones in Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels “It’s been emotional”

Goodbye old friend.

Love

John
