Grandma, how I will miss your smile, laugh, hugs, and kisses. Your funny stories and songs, along with a cup of tea, always made me feel warm inside. Whenever we saw each other, you'd always say "I'm all the better for seeing you" - you knew exactly how to make everyone feel loved. I will forever be singing "Snatch and grab it" and "My husband's got no porridge in him", and I can't wait to learn all the knitting tricks from mum that you've passed down. I love you always and forever, you will always be in my heart. Abbie xxx

On sunny days we would sit in the garden
And grandma you would name every flower
We'd always leave feeling more at ease
It seems that was your super power

A tea and a scone buttered by grandad,
And a laugh at an old family tale
Conversations flowing and smiles glowing
Your listening would never fail

Looking through family photos, giggling at faces
We loved hearing about your past
We miss you already, the most courageous lady
But our memories will truly last

A gentle hug and a kiss on the cheek
Seeing you was always a pleasure
Your warm embrace could never be replaced
Moments we will always treasure

Grandma you had a way of making everyone feel special
With nothing but your welcoming smile
Your soft warm skin, your beauty - where to begin
Grandma you truly had style

Grandma, you were born to be a mother
You've given us so much to learn
We were lucky to be loved and cared for by you
For one last hug, our hearts yearn

What we wouldn't give for one last laugh
And of course, a cup of tea too
One more row of knitting, we'll always be missing
Because Grandma, there's no one like you
