In loving memory of Stephen Shanks who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2023.

I would like to invite you to the funeral service of my beloved husband Steve Shanks. The service will be held at the Church of St Mary’s and All Saints, Bingham on 23rd May at 1.30pm. This will be followed by a burial at the Banks, Bingham, attend by family and close friends. Flowers to be laid by family members only please.

The service will be conducted in the spirit of celebrating and reflecting on the life of Steve. However, please wear formal dark clothing.

Following the service, there will be a gathering at the Horse and Plough pub, Bingham, to celebrate Steve’s life and raise a glass in his honour. Light refreshments will also be served on site.

For your convenience, all three venues are within walking distance. The use of public transport and car sharing to Bingham is encouraged where possible.

It will no doubt be an emotional day, but I would like to kindly ask everyone to come with a smile as Steve would have loved this. The service will be to celebrate his life and all that he contributed in his life & our life together.

Donations in memory of Steve can be made to The British Heart Foundation.

If you would like to attend the service please can you message Arry Nathan (arryknathan@gmail.com).

Thank you,
Jessica
