In loving memory of Richard Charles Bailey who sadly passed away on 28th April 2023.
Richard was a devoted Father and Grandfather. He was a great Brother, Uncle and friend.
He will be missed everyday .
At the end of his life he was cared for by the wonderful team at Haven’s Hospice, Southend. In memory of him we will be raising money for them to give back for the kindness and compassion the nursing and care team gave to Richard.

We feel very sad for the passing of Richar. He was our best man at our wedding and a great friend. He came and visited us at our house with his young children when we lived in Basildon Essex. . The last time we spoke with him was in August 2022 through whatsApp. We were living in the Hignlands Scotland and he was going to come and visit Richard we will miss you all the world and never stop thinking about you. Rest in peace sweetheart. Elaine xx

I still drive past your road sometimes and remember being taken there! Dad spoke about coming to visit you and it’s such a shame he didn’t get the chance to make the trip. I am so sorry that we didn’t realise you hadn’t been informed of his passing. Xx

Richard I've only just found out ,you were a diamond freind and our best man at our wedding . You have been in our thoughts for a long time, now will miss you forever. I’m so sorry that you have only just found out about Dad’s passing. We had no idea of the true extent of Dad’s friendships and how far spread they were. Thank you for your lovely message. It has been a long, tough year without him but hopefully now he is resting in peace xx
