Son, it has been a whole year since you left us. Yet it only seems like yesterday, I just don't know where the time has gone. We all miss you more than ever and think about you every day. We all met today for a BBQ, one of your favourite pass times. A few bevvies and some reminiscing. Not the same without you, but the day went well and the sun came out. We all made the best of it and had a giggle at some of the antics you used to get up to lol. We felt your presence. We love and miss you so much liam. Another month has passed without you Liam, I still can't get my head round everything let alone it being 8 months without you with us.
Christmas is literally just a few weeks away, as well as your baby girls 9th birthday.
The thought of going into a new year without you scares me, one because you should be here bringing it in with us and two it will be almost a year since you've been gone.
It never gets easier and time isn't a healer, we just have to deal with it, we have to take each day as it comes but every day your always in our thoughts.
I wasn't just lucky to of met you, I was lucky to become part of the most amazing family, we've all stuck by each other and as for your mum, there isn't enough words to write down or describe but she is the most incredible woman I've ever met, she's a queen, our queen, your queen!.
I hope your enjoying the Christmas parties up there and showing them how it's all done.

I've struggled so much these last few weeks, feel like I've so much and it's killing me.

I didn't realise just how much they were keeping me going and I'm trying to stay strong for Riley cause he needs me but I feel useless and such a let down to him right now.
It's 2 months today since everything fell apart, I never in a millions years imagined that night that you would never come home again.
I know you'd be telling me to pull myself together etc but it's so hard, I've completely lost myself.
I don't think you ever knew just how much you meant to me, first time in my life I was 'in love' the butterflies in the stomach feeling isn't just a myth I sure did every time I was with you.
You made me feel loved, wanted and special, you made me cry..with laughter and smile every day.
Our home is so quiet without you and kids, Riley is struggling massively too, it's the little things he comes out with occasionally 'remember when liam did this' that make me smile.
I'm blabbing on abit I know, but it's easing the tears as they haven't stopped tonight.
I hope your behaving up there and keeping the stool next to you at the bar free for when I get there with a tray of jager bombs and firebombs.

Liam, it's been 4 and a half months since we lost you. I wish I could say its got easier but it hasn't. We're all still trying to adjust to this new normal taking each day as it comes without you. I just don't feel like myself anymore, I can't even put it into words. When we're all together as a family the brightest person, the one with the jokes, the banter, crude remarks, the cheesy smile isn't with us and it just doesn't feel right. I would do absolutely anything to see your face again, hear your voice, feel your arms wrapped round me and giving me the tightest cuddle and most of all just to tell you how much I love you.
When someone passes unexpectly like you did, there's so many ifs and buts that you end up living with and you know me always been an overthinker, more than ever now. But I do wish I could of told you that night that you really are the love of my life, you made me the happiest I'd ever been, was forever on cloud 9 with you cause I'd found my soulmate.
