I will always remember Syd for his fast driving and ability to complete a 4 hour journey in 2 hours !!!. You were also a terrible torment when we were all little but soon stopped tormenting when Barry and Geoff grew bigger than you. Lots of fond memories of camping in Swanage playing rounders which we could never win because you would always hit the ball into the next field as you would not be beaten !. It really was fun . 45 years later I am still talking about those wonderful holidays. Syd you were a generous no nonsense man who will be greatly missed.x
