On the 5th April 2023 we sadly lost Jan, a loving wife, mother and Nana. In 2015 she was diagnosed with Renal Cancer and underwent an operation to remove a Kidney. In true Jan style she fought every inch of the way and agreed to take part in a trial for a new type of cancer drug. The medical information that Jan provided over the six years of the trial has helped many other cancer sufferers. The Pfizer drug was eventually passed by NICE as result of this trial. This is something that Jan and we as a family are extremely proud of. It is an example of Jan's tenacity, kindness and sheer determination to do good for others.
We have set up this page in her memory and to honour Jan and The Royal Marsden Renal and Melanoma team. We know Jan would appreciate any amount that you can give to support the valiant efforts and the wonderful work of the team.
