In loving memory of Nick Coombes who sadly passed away unexpectedly at home on 30th March 2023. Our hearts will forever be broken. Nick was one of life's unique characters, who cannot be summarised by one person, as he meant so much, to so many people.

Please use this space to leave messages and upload photos of Nick.

The dress code for the funeral at 2.15pm on Thursday 4th May at Barham Crematorium is whatever you feel comfortable in. Nick never liked being 'suited and booted', so please come however you feel most comfortable. No flowers. Donations to the British Heart Foundation are welcomed. Nick will be leaving his home at 1.15pm. If you would like to be part of the car convoy following Nick, please contact Steve Knibbs as people will meet at Dover seafront before 1.30pm. Nick will lead us on his final journey up Jubilee Way and along to A2.

There will be the option to attend virtually if anyone is unable to attend. Which I can be contacted about, and forward the link to you nearer the time.

Please can you click the tab to show your attendance at the funeral and the wake. The Wake will be at The Plough Inn in Ripple where Nick worked for a significant time.

If anyone would like to contribute to the funeral costs please contact Donna Knibbs.

We may have only spoken once a month for the last few years but you spent a fair few years being a best friend and a huge support to mine and Isaziah’s life. From me going through the worst and you still being a friend to listen, driving me to work for nearly a whole year because I didn’t drive back then. Having our nicknames that can never be used again. Makes me sad to think you’re not just going to pop up and check on me or tell me what’s new with you and Amanda or with work. It makes me sadder to think that you don’t get to finish what you started with Amanda. You don’t get to congratulate me for creating another life, it sucks. Amanda and Nick’s family, I’m so sorry for the loss of Nick, he was amazing to those around him. I hope he has an amazing send off today xx

I will forever hold our childhood memories with nic and his brothers playing over the caravan site and seeing who could do the best stunts on their bikes. You will be so missed buddy.
