Mark
first son to Clive and Betty, older brother and hero to Paul, Uncle to Rachael and Stephen. Mark was a hard worker, determined to always succeed and complete everything he started, he worked after school mixing Cement making slabs, his fitness was incredible, running miles selected to run for Essex at school. Marks training included doing press ups with Paul sitting on his shoulders..amazing power. Mark Windsurfed with the family which he loved. Mark holiday'd with the family but in later life had the strength of will to holiday alone. The family always had pet dogs, Mark loved his long walks around Essex with his dog.
unfortunately Mark had two accidents in early life a car crash and motorcycle crash which caused mark life long issues, but Mark kept his sense of humour and love of cycling walking with his dogs, he loved his family and we loved him, everyone one who knew him has a lovely story about him, Pauls is one of unselfishness from Mark when Mark took to Paul to town as 5yr old, kitted him out with fishing gear so Mark could take him fishing with him, all from one of Marks first wage packets.
Life was full of laughter.
Although this is Marks obituary his father Clive passed at the start of Covid, no service took place and so now we are interning Clive’s ashes with Mark and the service will be a joint one.
