  • A decent man, caring, intelligent & generous. One of Nature's Gentlemen. Don Molloy

  • As fellow Gaels we watched Derry's online service from Rugby. We knew him so well from our earlier times in Manchester when the Irish scene was vibrant and convivial. Don was correct in referring to Derry as a natural gentleman. He had a quiet sense of class, a sharp intellect and his lively conversation endeared him to many. A thoroughly decent man and a genuine friend to many. We like to think we were good friends to him too when he lived in Manchester. Gone but not forgotten Marian & Sean
