I cannot believe that you are no longer with us; was so looking forward to our next catch up, it will have to wait a while.
As I've already said to your family, you weren't just my secretary ( although you were fiercely loyal in that rôle and the best back coverer I've ever had!), you were a a great friend whose zest for life, whatever it threw at you, was unquenchable.

Dearest Val. We got to know each other when you joined Bradstocks. I worked in London and you worked from Nottingham. When the company folded we still kept on touch. You saw Eliot grow up through our Xmas photos. Our love for our cats was a great comfort to both of us. I am just so sorry we never got to meet up when I moved back up North. Your passing was a shock and I know you will be dearly missed. Wishing you happiness and peace on your new journey reuniting with David. We will meet one day xxx

Thank you so much Mark. Mum was our ray of sunshine, she lit up the room and we miss her greatly. Since losing David her sparkle had gone, she is with him now 🌟 xx
