In loving memory of Beryl Griffiths - June 1930 - March 2023
It is with great sadness I share the news of the passing of my Mum, Beryl Griffiths passed away at Hunters care Home in Cirencester, on Monday 20 March. Mum was 92 and had succumbed to Alzheimer’s Dementia over the last six years, spending the last four and a half years at Hunters Care Home, when it became impossible for her to continue to live and cared for in her home in Fairford.
The celebration of Beryl’s life…cremation service will be at Kingsdown Crematorium, Stratton St. Margaret, Swindon, on Wednesday 19 April at 2.15pm.
All are welcome to attend if they are able.
To follow and respect Mum’s wishes if anyone is able to attend, please come in informal colourful attire, black is not required, as this is not a sombre occasion. Mum and I wish this to be a celebration of her life, as we say cheerio to her with love and light on her journey home.
A small reception will be arranged afterwards in the Stratton St. Margaret area.
To help cater for this I would politely ask if anyone is able to attend that you could let me know, as it would be helpful to know of numbers attending by the 11 April…as Mum would say…”if I knew you were coming I would have baked a cake”
Instead of flower tributes, I would ask that a donation to the Blue Cross, Animal Rescue Charity is made.

Beryl we knew what we were together in life more daughter and mother than step daughter and in Roger a son. We laughed and cried together. We shared holidays and days out and I like to think you knew we were always there if needed.
We wish you an everlasting peace.
