In loving memory of Gwendoline Sheila Kemp who died on 21st March 2023

Better known to most as Sheila, she spent the majority of her life in and around Nottingham. She worked as a typist and then secretary at various Nottingham firms before taking the post of personal assistant to the director at the Royal Ordnance Factory.

She had many diverse interests including walking, painting and bowling. In the 1960s she was the leader of the Edwalton Life Boys, the junior section of the 42nd Edwalton Boys' Brigade.

She latterly had strong links with St Luke's Church where she made many long standing friendships.

She drank good ale, good punch, good wine, and lived to the age of ninety nine.
(Not an original verse but borrowed from a gravestone in the grounds of the Church of the Holy Rood, Edwalton, and known to mother. I am sure she would have approved).
