‘Betty’
On 19th March 2023, suddenly, at her home in Mirfield, aged 80 years, Betty, beloved wife of the late Jim, dearly loved mum of the late Simon and daughter of the late Joan. She will be remembered for being a very dear friend and neighbour.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Thursday 13th April 2023 at 2.45pm. Friends please gather at the crematorium, a little bit of glamour would be appreciated on the day. No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of Dewsbury Collegians and PDSA.
I have tried to track Betty down for years as she was married to my grandpa Mike previously and had a lovely impact on my childhood. Sadly we lost touch following Simon’s funeral but I have never forgotten her. How sad to find she passed away this year. RIP Betty xx

Got fond memories of my glamorous beautiful Aunty Betty. Spent many of Christmas mornings at her house. I remember the laughs and how she made you feel special and welcome. She was a one off and an all round big personality never to be forgotten. Love you aunty Betty your with Simon now, Bella and your lovely mum Grandma Joan. You will be sadly missed by your nieces Hannah and Elizabeth , nephews Arran and Simon. Your beautiful Great nieces will also miss you too. Rest in peace darling ❤️
I was Betty's next door neighbour at Almscliffe Avenue Sugar Lane.We handsome great times and parties before moving to Australia in 1979.
