Richard Taylor (11 Jun 1968 - 18 Mar 2023)

You will always be fondly remembered especially many lunches and time spent together in Whitechapel E1 and Greenwich. May your soul RIP.

I will fondly remember Richard after we met at Pride of Britain in 2008. He was the most kind and humble man who leaves a legacy of hope for our future. I was honoured when he came to my school to celebrate Anti-bullying week and presented the Damilola Taylor Cup to one of our children. He sang and smiled throughout the presentation and he particularly enjoyed the hymn Shine Jesus Shine! The world will be a sadder place without Richard but I know that all of the children he met in my school will be forever touched by him and al that he taught them. His hope to build a better and safer future for all our children, will be fulfilled. My love and respect to his children and all at The Damilola Taylor Trust. Pepe
