I saw Philip go from a little lad, to a husband, to a dad, to a granddad and was proud to have been his friend. I will miss you more than words can say and will honour you by wearing red on Monday even though I am 3000 miles away. RIP xxxx

Philip, you were a part of my life for 51 years and we had lots of fun and laughter when you, Peter, Celia and myself went out together jiving at the Batley Variety Club and going out for meals. You were a loving family man and will be greatly missed by all who knew you. The world is a sad place now you are not in it. Give all my love to Peter, Celia and all our family.

Phil you were the perfect gentleman! I have known you since I was 5 and you always put up with mine and Paula's antics from giggling fits on the sofa whilst you were trying to watch tv to getting in slightly drunk as you were going out to start your milk rounds!!
You will always have a place in my heart and you will be sadly missed xx
