Dearest Tom,
Thank you for all you help and advice over the years, your interesting chats. Thanks for making me feel so welcome in Shrubland Close.

Thank you, once again, for giving us such a lovely opportunity to express our love for, and to say goodbye to Tom. My mind is still wandering over aspects of Tom's service - the beautiful flowers, Pauline's poem, the bird song, the photos and so much more. Words fail me with my admiration for how he coped with his illness with such grace. At least he is at peace now after a life well lived. A special man.

Tom was always a loving & caring man. I never saw him a great deal but when I did he always knew what I had been up to and interested in myself & family. Will always remember Tom as a smiley,happy man who was loved by many xx

I would like to Donate to Mountbatten, as Tom loved being here and going out listening to the birds and just being outside, not forgetting the Rugby being wheeled out to the big screen, which wouldn’t have been possible in a hospital environment. He said it felt like a Hotel, which is how you should feel, comfortable and happy with all your family around you. Xxxxx

Dearest Tom, the loveliest man you could ever meet. I first met Tom when my son Lee and Sheelagh met, when they married it made us family. Tom would love to go for a drink at the Wellington Arms with his girls and partners, they all had such a laugh with my sister Mary, have a drink with her for me Tom! You will always have a place in all our hearts Tom, and we will remember you with much cherished memories. All our love to Tom’s Family, From June, Tina and family, Ian and family xxxxxx

For such a tiny man Tom has the biggest heart ❤️. A truly wonderful person with a spirit that lifts all around him. The world is a lesser place without Tom.
