On 2nd March 2023, suddenly but peacefully at home, Thornhill Lees, aged 87 years, Jean, beloved wife of the late Terry, much loved mum of Julie, Jane and Nigel, very dear sister of Christine, a dearly loved mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 17th March 2023 at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

It was a pleasure to have know Mrs Preston with growing up on lees holm and been involved in the majorettes Mrs Preston was a very good friend of my mum too and she will be dearly missed
