Thank you Jessica , David loved it in Southampton , after meeting new partner on - line. Took on family responsibilities with step daughter, Lilly, completed apprenticeship city &guilds in mechanics, loved to work on Harley Davidson motorcycles. Kept his ferrets til they passed away, then started again with snakes - Dave always “ mr alternative “ as you know. We used to have mini breaks to go and see him several times a year , kept in touch via face time etc , he was wonderfully happy .til last year. Thanks again Martin & Jo (parents)

  • Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to write back to me. Dave was most definitely "Mr alternative" lol. He has been in my thoughts so much over the past few days and I'm grateful for the memories that are being brought back to me, I spent a lot of time with him. I have always and still to this day.. considered him as one of my best friends. I just could not find him after he moved to Southampton. But thank you for sharing with me that he found true happiness, lived his life and found a career and passion that he loved so much. I'm so pleased to hear that. I can't begin to imagine what you all are going through and I'm so sorry still. I was wondering if I would be able to contact you directly? My sister was also really close to Dave, she is also shaken up by the news as well. You are all in our thoughts x

I have been searching for Dave for years.. I can't express how deeply saddened I am to see he has passed on. Dave was one of my best friends a long time ago :( we used to visit Birmingham together, where he took me to Oasis market for the very first time. I lived just around the corner from the Kings Arms 😞 I spent many evenings at his flat on the Walshes with his ferrets. I was never able to find him on Facebook and the phone numbers I had for him were no longer in use. Wow, I am so so sorry for your loss. I truly hope that he found happiness in Southampton, because I was there with him through some of his toughest times in Stourport. I will never ever forget my friend Dave 💔 sleep well xxx
