Andrew Simon Bowden 08/09/1966 - 13/02/2023
Andrew died suddenly and unexpectedly on the 13th February 2023. This has been a huge shock to everyone.
Judi and Hugh would like to invite you to a celebration of everything that made Andrew so very special. He was a man with the biggest heart. The service will be held on Friday 24th March 2023 at Wessex Vale Crematorium and then after at The Dolphin pub in Botley.
Judi has requested family flowers only., but if you wish any donations can be made in memory of Andrew to Spaniel Aid UK or Shelter.
There is no dress code, Andrew didn't worry about that sort of thing, he cared more about the people then what they wore.
Finally Judi has asked if people would kindly take a few minutes to write a small memory that they have of Andrew on a small piece of card to go into a memory box that she wants to create for Hugh.
I was shocked and very sad to hear about Andy, I carried out a big part of my plumbing and heating apprenticeship with Andy many years ago. He was a very talented gas engineer and a true gent, he will be sorely missed by all. RIP

In memory of my friend Andy
I still can't believe that he won't be popping round and teasing me whilst drinking tea and laughing and smiling. Andy was a massive influence on me, I went with him to Paris and we went to Holland. He showed me that Europe wasn't that far away. I will miss so much his friendship and upbeat view of life. He always had a way of cheering me up and seeing the funny side of life.
We will always remember the big personality that was Andrew. Thinking of Andrew,his family and friends at this very sad time. Sandy Jeff and Family

This donation is made in memory of Andrew from his friends in Australia. Andrew was a fair dinkum bloke, who will be remembered for his love of life, and his love of visiting Australia. We hold all of Andrew's family in our hearts during their immeasurable grief and sadness. I would like to make a donation in memory of Andrew Bowden. The beloved husband of Judi and dad to "H". He loved a gossip and the hours he spent fixing my boiler sorting the plumbing and installing my "sexy" filter tap as he described it make me smile. He would always go out of his way to help if he could and we laughed and cried together at my leaving party at the Chilworth Arms.A lovely man who will be missed by so many and who I was blessed to meet.
I am away for the funeral so I would just like to say Judi I will hold you and "H"in my thoughts and my heart. God Bless you xxx
