Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.
Last night as I lay sleeping,
An angel came to me.
I opened my eyes and stared at her,
Wondering who she could be.
I looked a little closer,
And I saw a familiar face,
She was my daughter Dawn,
Saying she found the perfect place.
She told me she was happy,
And asked me not to cry.
She said her pain was over,
So, I said my last goodbye.
A smile for all, a heart of gold,
One of the best this world could hold.
Never selfish, always kind,
These are the memories you leave behind.
Night, night sweetheart, love you.
Mum x
To me you were always special
In my eyes you will always Shine,
Of all the Mummy’s in the world,
I’m glad that you were mine.
It’s only N ’night Mummy,
Just like we used to say,
We’ll meet again in the morning,
At the dawn of a brighter day.
Love you so much Mummy, Louise and Antony x
To have you for my mother,
Was cause enough for pride,
No-one could be your equal,
However much they tried.
I lost a mum in a million,
I loved her to the end,
I lost two precious things that day,
My mum and my best friend.
Night, night mum, love you, see you in heaven. Sarah x
The family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Memories have such lovely ways,
Of bringing back our yesterdays,
God bless from your sister Darleen x
Deep in our hearts your memory is kept,
We loved you too dearly to ever forget,
We shared so much together,
Laughter, Joy, and Tears
Now all I have are memories,
Of all those Happy Years.
May the winds of love blow,
On that gentle spot,
Where my dear sister lies sleeping,
Never to be forgot.
Love you Always, Alex
As the sun sets upon this life,
And your body is laid to rest,
I know you’ll be up in heaven,
Because God only takes the best,
I know you’re watching over me,
And it takes away the pain,
I will carry you in my heart,
Until we meet again,
My world is a little darker,
Now that we’re apart,
But the memories are shining brightly,
Within this broken heart,
You touched the lives,
Of those you Loved,
And we wanted you to stay,
But you were needed up in heaven,
And God whispered, “Come this way.”
I know whenever I’m lonely,
And this smile becomes a frown,
I’ll look up to the sky above,
And there’ll be an Angel looking down,
Love you always, your sister Sarah.
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile,
If only I could have you back for just a little while,
then we could sit and talk again,
just like we used to do,
you always meant so very much,
and always will do too,
the fact that you’re no longer here
will always cause me pain,
but you’re forever in my heart,
until we meet again.
Macauley, Megan, Oscar, and Charlotte
God saw you getting weary,
And a cure was not to be,
He put his arms around you,
And whispered come to me.
God called your name so softly,
That only you could hear,
And no one heard the footsteps,
Of the angels drawing near,
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Sweet Dreams Auntie Dawn, love always, Katie and David x
I think of you in silence,
And make no outward show,
Just how much I miss you,
No-one will ever know.
Love you always auntie Dawn, Ellie
Sweet are the memories,
Dear is your name,
Close to our hearts,
You will always remain.
We will always love and miss you Nanny love, Cora, and Ivy
Along the road of suffering,
You found a little lane,
That took you straight to heaven,
And ended all your pain.
Night, night Auntie Dawn, love from your “wee son”, Macauley x
My wee Darlin’ Dawn,
I’ll never ever forget the love we shared together, the beautiful times we shared together and that kind nature that stood out so clear. I love you and always will, I’m so glad we still shared moments together, and our messages every day and night. You were a gem, one in a million, loved by so many, you never complained about anything, a truly remarkable woman. It’s goodnight my wee honey, you’re with Jesus now, and I’ll meet you again.
All my love, William xxxxx
I just wanted to let you know,
You meant the world to me,
Only a heart so dear as yours,
Gave so unselfishly.
The many things you did,
All the time that you were there,
Help me know deep down inside,
How much you really cared,
Even though we did not say,
We appreciated all that you done,
Richly blessed is how I feel.
To have had a cousin just like you
My cousin, my friend, my other wee sister. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal. We will miss you always, Leighanne, Glenn, and Cole.
God saw you getting tired,
a cure was not to be,
so, he put his arms around you.
and whispered come to me.
With tearful eyes,
We watched you pass away,
And although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Remembered always by Catrina, Alfie, Michael, and Nikki-Jo.
Tired and weary you made no fuss,
You tried so hard to stay with us,
God closed your eyes,
And gave you rest,
For he alone knows, what’s best.
Love always, Aunt Arlene x
Sweet are the memories silently kept,
Of a niece we loved and will never forget.
No longer here, our love to share,
But in our hearts, you’re always there.
Love, Aunt Kate
I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."
I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace, at last."
I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."
I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."
I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She's with you every day."
Love you always Auntie Dawn, Demi-Lou x
