In loving memory of Linda "Lyn" White who sadly passed away in February 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

Lyn was a fun, happy and loving Mum of five daughters and a Nanny to ten grandchildren.

Daughter of Eileen and Fred, Lyn grew up near the Lambeth Walk in central London with her brother Mark and sister June.

She had four lovely daughters - Lisa, Rachel, Rebecca and Leonora, with her husband Peter.

She worked for BT for many years as a young woman and loved her job.

Later she married Bill. They relocated to Kent, where her beautiful fifth daughter Billie was born.

Lyn loved animals and shared this passion with all her daughters.

Nan I hope you’ve found comfort again and are no longer in any pain & I also hope you’re eating as much cake as possible, pain free! I remember you was one of my very first people that let me loose with a pair of scissors when I was training to become a hairdresser, you sat there so patiently for I think it was 2 hours & 30 minutes! You were always so patient, supportive and kind! I’m pleased I was able to give you your last haircut, I do hope you love it! As you know I’ve now ventured onto a new career in the skies as, I’m so sorry I can’t be with all my family to say a final farewell but I’ll have some comfort hoping that at 37,000ft today I’m a little closer to you, goodbye nan, lots of love, Faye Xx

I will miss you forever Nan, you were always a joy to be around. I remember from a young age you were such a fun, caring & loving Nan. It breaks my heart that you're no longer with us and that we won't have the privilege to share special life moments with you in our presence, but I know you will always be in our hearts and watching over us.
I wish I could be there today to say my farewell in person, among family. I will be thinking of you always and forever. I love you x
